Engine Assembly Line

The engine assembly line is designed for the controlled assembly of engine components through a sequence of automated and semi-automated production processes. Hongbo Automation can develop customized engine assembly systems according to engine type, production capacity, takt time and plant layout.

The line can integrate component conveying, lifting and positioning, dedicated fixtures, automated assembly stations, fastening systems and in-process inspection. Torque-controlled tools and process monitoring can be incorporated into critical assembly operations to improve consistency and product quality.

Depending on project requirements, the system can also include leak testing, functional testing, identification and production data collection. MES integration can provide process traceability by linking assembly and testing data with individual engine identification.
